ONE:
I put this post out a week or so ago, but there isn't be any harm asking today either...
Does
anyone have any thoughts or glowing reviews on either of these
products? I struggle with getting curls to really 'stay' and I'm rather
uncoordinated with a traditional curling iron, so I thought this new
iron may be what I'm looking for? If any of you glamorous gals out
there have experience with either of these new fangled contraptions
please, please let me know!!

TWO:
Having
recently purchased Naked2, my Pinterest board is filled with tutorials
on creating beautiful looks using the palette. I haven't used it much,
mostly because I feel like my day should be worthy of the pretty colors! Please share with me any tutorials or suggestions you have for utilizing Naked2!!

THREE:
It's supposed to be a glorious weekend here! They're talking about temps in the 70s. Wahoo! I've got plans to do some more yard work and getting to the barn to ride Louie. Our first horse show is scheduled for May 10, and he's a long way from looking as good as he did in this picture!!
FOUR:
You may remember that I went to Disneyland a few weeks ago, well my flight kept getting delay leaving Indy. And not just by a few minutes either! Hours. So I decided to treat myself to a gel manicure to help pass the time and I loved them! Living where I do, going to a salon and having them done regularly is really not a reality so I've been looking for an at home kit. Last week on my lunch hour I found the SensatioNail french manicure starter kit marked down 25%! Winning! Has anyone tried this brand? Got any tips or tricks?

FIVE:
I
have a confession to make... I started the book 12 Years a Slave at the
end of February and have read the first few chapters, but I just can't
seem to get into it! I quit reading it to focus on my March book club
book and haven't went back since. Honestly, I couldn't tell you much
about those first three chapters either. I need to go back and start
from the beginning! Has anyone else read it? Did you have this issue
too?
I'm happy to be linking up today with Natasha, Christina, April and Darci for another exciting round of 5 on Friday!
Stopping in from 5 on Friday... I have never tried those curling iron things but they look interesting! I just had to leave a little comment though because we also have a black lab named Bella and I see you do too! Have a great weekend and I hope you do get a chance to get out and go riding!
ReplyDeleteIs your Bella a contender for the worlds most spoiled dog?!? Ours is, but we love her just the same! Thanks so much for stopping in from the link up!
Deletei tried one of those curling irons on my husbands kid cousin and it didnt work, but i figured it was me not knowing how. im partial to a straightener / normal curling iron. i really want to buy naked 2!
ReplyDeleteMy mother has the curler and she used it on my hair once and it got stuck! It was pretty bad, but she loves it! I think it depends on your hair. Mine is really thick and was long at the time. Hers is pretty thin and shorter.
ReplyDeleteI haven't used either of those curling contraptions but I do know a girl who has the first one and said she liked it.
ReplyDeleteI have never had luck with curls until I purchased a clipless curling iron/ curling wand. Its a ceramic wand and you can change the temp from 350 up to 500 degrees. It comes with a glove since there is no clip to hold the hair and my curls last 2 days without hairspray!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any luck curing my hair with anything except a wand that I can wrap my hair around... it works like a gem for me (which is surprising because I have tried EVERYTHING!!)
ReplyDeleteHow much do you love Naked2??! I have to get the 3, it's calling my name!!!
