That Peeves Me #blogtober14

Wanna know what grinds my gears?

-Leaving dirty dishes in the sink when the dishwasher is empty
-Open cabinet and dresser drawers
-Anything that isn't put back in it's 'place'
-Piles
-Getting in to drive a vehicle and the gas gauge is on E

-Finger/toe nails that stab me in the foot because someone doesn't take the time to collect them after they've trimmed their nails (cough, cough... Husband!)

And the worst offender?  The One Upper.

There's no doubt in my mind that we've all experienced this lovely person at some point!  While I typically give a slight eye roll as The One Upper starts their story, I generally am a smile and nod'er.  But that doesn't mean I'm not thinking...

  2. Absolutely! Luckily, my husband tries to make the trashcan when he clips his nails, BUT he does leave a lot of hair in the sink and it totally just gets everywhere. Bleh.
One uppers are SO annoying. I have a friend who is a major one upper and it makes me crazy every time she's around.

  3. Ugggh the one upper is definitely the worst! And my hubby is a big offender with the toe nail clippings too. So gross!!

  4. Ohhhh myyyy gosh....the dishes! WHY WHY WHY is it so much harder for a man to put something in the dishwasher rather than the sink! The dishwasher door is NOT so heavy as to require additional energy to open it! Sheesh! That obviously makes me crazy too! Haha. However, I've got to admit that I am terrible about leaving cabinet doors/dresser drawers open just a tiny bit...oops! That's definitely my only flaw though...Bahahahaha! :)

  5. Yes to all of these! My husband is an offender of putting the dishes in the sink or near the dishwasher, but not IN the dishwasher. Drives me nuts! And to top it off he thinks he's being so good by taking them to the sink. No, just no.

  6. Yes to open cabinets and drawers!! My husband never closes his dresser drawer after getting something out and it drives me nuts! Such a simple thing, I just don't get it lol!
